the past few days i’ve been feeling pretty slow and craptastic.

i had a bunch of symptoms that i won’t even go into {because that will tempt those who think i am a hypochondriac to say i’m crying wolf}

but yesterday around 4 PM, i got a terrible cramp in my stomach.  thinking it was just that {cramps} i didn’t worry much.  but as the night progressed, the pains got a million times worse than cramps and localized in my lower right abdomen.

after a little persuasion from chase and my mother in law, chase & i headed out to the hospital, which luckily is only 5 blocks away.

after checking into the emergency room, they told me they needed to take a blood sample and hook me to an IV.  ya right.  i don’t do needles.  but it wasn’t so bad…i’m actually looking forward to it again someday {it made me feel really weird}.

after doing a blood test and a CT scan, they told me that they had no explanations for the pains i was feeling…..there were no cysts, no appendicitis, no kidney stones, nothing!  well, they did find a cyst on my spleen, but that is in a completely different area of my body, so the cause of the pain is still unknown.

i'm a beauty, i know.

they let me leave, and even though the pain isn’t completely gone, it has settled down a bit.

i’m just glad that nothing too terrible was found {cancer, diabetes, etc}.  and i’m glad that i was able to experience my first IV and live through it.  thanks to the morphine i guess.

it’s been a couple of days without a post…..better fix that and quick.

so i know i said that there would be an excess of pictures of husband and i at the pearl jam concert, but once we got there and realized the terrible quality that our iphone cameras take pictures, we just kind of stopped doing it.

here are a few though that managed to turn out ok {notice i said “ok” and not “great” or even “good”}

we did love that eddie vedder called one guy up to the stage where he proceeded to propose to his girlfriend by telling the crowd to show her how they felt at their first Pearl Jam concert, and comparing that cheer to how he felt about her.  aw

no, i’m not pregnant.  and yes, i’m having cravings.  this must mean i’m a fatty-fat kid.  but really, if i could choose only two foods to eat the rest of my life they would be:

this weekend chase & i went up to logan to watch over my siblings.

the parentals took a vacation to new york for no apparent reason and i jumped at the chance to get to spend the weekend with them.

we had a blast getting take-out, going to football games and playing around with baxter.

no real pictures to post of it though, that is the bad news.

however, tomorrow there is bound to be a bunch of pictures of hubs and i at the pearl jam concert {which is tonight}.

so i did it.

i went dark.  and got bangs.  and got more red streaks.

i haven’t taken any of those classic “here’s my new hair” pictures to post for you, but i stole some pictures from my friend, brittany, that she took at callie’s bridal shower.

still not sure if i have the right face for front bangs, but i’m gonna try to rock em until my next hair appointment…

chase and i finally made it back to the exact spot where we met.  ahhh.  so cute, right!?

lagoon was a lot of fun.

we started out with the samurai, then rode the sky coaster thingy to the best side of the park

we got all of our favorite rides in (a few times each), grabbed some treats and headed out before it got too crowded for the night.

icon lagoon day is always great, especially if you get there right at the beginning because there is absolutely no wait for any lines.  it was definitely worth the $20 we had to spend to get into the park.

i won this lil guy at the dart throwing booth. go me!

ahhh,  it’s friday.

and guess what?  thursday wasn’t half bad either.

i came home from work, hubby and dog were gone, and husband wasn’t answering his phone.

i went into the bedroom and came back out and this is what i saw:

isn’t chase the best husband ever?!  he brought me flowers and dinner!

and tonight i get to go to lagoon with him {where we met}

it’s friday, and i’m definitely in love.
